These are "Genuine Steel Boned Corsets" not "fake/lingerie" type corsets that have poly/plastic boning inside, are not backed for sturdiness, and have low grade grommets or perhaps even "eyelets". Our boning is constructed of half an inch in width, heavy duty steel spring flat boning, not "spiral". Our company does not or has ever purchase boning supplies from middle companies which sell already made and sized boning strips. These are totally different in strength and weight. It is boning that actually contours itself with your natural curves while wearing it and after taking it off, you can bend it back in place straight( have it to how it was before you first put it on). We purchase our "boning" product directly from the manufacturer in a large roll uncut and not dipped. Boning gets cut according to the size needed for each strip, grind at the ends, and dip the tips in proper solution. All corsets and other items are made by the seamstress/designer (performs cutting and sewing) and business partner/webmaster (boning & grommet work) and not in any third world countries.

Provided below are simple instructions for measuring one self for a corset. We have devised it to be as the most simplest possible manner. Customers tend to shy away in finding difficulty in providing measurements by any other (methods). If you have any questions at all on these instructions feel free to Contact Us.
To place a custom made under bust corset, order,please include specific measurements such as inches around under the bust (preferably with a non padded bra on while measuring), waist (all around above navel), and hips (about 4" below waistline/navel). Also, for those with a short or long torso/long waist size, please provide middle front length starting from mid-upper point of under the bust line or in between breasts. PLEASE INCLUDE DETAILS OF STYLE/DESIGN.
To place a custom made over bust corset order please include specific measurements such as inches around bust if full corset/ over bust style (preferably with a non padded bra on while measuring), inches around under the bust also with bra on, inches around waist (all around above navel), and hip area (about 4" below waistline/navel). The purpose of a corset liner is to prevent rubbing or chaffing that you get from the corset; that is having the direct contact onto your skin from the tension that is put on while wearing it. Also, protects the corset from direct persperation; just adds a little bit of a barrier between the wearer and the corset itself.
